I’m sorry, that must be scary. Is he sick a lot?

It is very scary. It’s an incredibly helpless feeling.

Honestly, it depends. It’s been about a year since he’s had any health scare but the last one was really bad. If I recall correctly that was when he was placed a low sodium, low potassium diet because there were problems with his kidneys. But since then he’s fallen a few times, but been able to get up on his own (he has bad knees and he’s 61). 

This time it’s not as scary because there’s no big fall and some warning.

It’s very different from the other times he’s been in. Usually it involves a really bad fall or being incredibly sick. Right now, he’s under the weather and going to the doctor tomorrow but his doctor might put him in because of his other medical conditions.
