It doesn’t matter what he did for her, or what he did for Buffy. HE CROSSED THE LINE. How can people not realize this? Of course Dawn threatened him. And you know what, I’m sure to some extent Dawn felt violated too - in the respect that she trusted him. She trusted him to watch and protect her. Then he goes around and tried to rape her sister. Of course, she doesn’t feel anything near what Buffy felt, but still, I’m sure she felt disgusted and betrayed by it.
