I totally agree about adoption being portrayed on TV rarely positively. The kanima thing is being interesting but I kind of see it as another manifestation of his identity issues.

That’s true. I hate how he treated Lydia. Although ultimately, I don’t mind him being a jerk. I don’t like him as a person, but he interests me as a character you know.
