I’ve been seeing all these comments lately like, ‘Sansa and Dany are the same age but Dany is so much more mature and kicks way more ass and is way better than Sansa in every way.’
Sansa and Dany are not the same age. At the start of the series Sansa is 11 while Dany is 13. And in the show Sansa is 13 and I’m not sure how old Dany is supposed to be, but its older. I know that two years does not sound like that much time but when you’re an adolescent every year counts.
Beyond that, people mature at different rates. It doesn’t make them lesser people. And at the start of the series Dany has gone through way more hardship than Sansa. Sansa was allowed to be a child more than Dany ever was and I don’t think that’s bad. I think its nice that Sansa had a safe space to grow up even only for a little while. Its sad that Dany didn’t.
Their situations are not even the same. As people they’re not even the same. Its okay to like one and not the other, but its ridiculous to think that Sansa should be like Dany. She isn’t Dany.

This country sucks right now. -.-
And just to think, days ago it was so beautiful and nice in Michigan. Now, we’re all on fire.

When a show will be written by women who can do justice to each kind of women (and not only warriors who can fight with a weapon) and not depending on men, then it will be an amazing change…
Agreed.

Yeah. And I mean I feel like a lot of the female characters that /don’t/ have masculine traits would be more interesting? I mean I love Arya and Brienne, but I think that all the other women can be just as interesting. Lol, I have lots of feels sorry
I feel the same. I love Arya and Brienne, but I think that all of the women can be just as interesting. I have a lot of issues with the fandom treating female characters like they don’t matter because they are feminine or more feminine. There’s nothing wrong with female characters taking on feminine or masculine traits, neither should be shamed.

That was one of the things that annoyed me with the show, though, because I feel like they kind of made her seem like just…annoying or something? Idk.
Yeah, I definitely think that is what the show has done. It’s a huge shame that the writers cannot write a female character unless she has masculine traits (Arya and Brienne).

Same here :D. Even though her chapters make me want to cry half the time lol.
She goes through so much, and it really made me mad when the show just left out the reason why she let Jaime go. She had just found out that two of her sons were dead.

I love her omg. She kind of had to grow on me though but she’s one of my favourite characters now
It definitely took a long time for her to grow on me. But now, I absolutely adore her. Her pov chapters are definitely some of my favorite.
